Illness While at School
If you should become ill or are injured during school, ask your teacher for a pass to the Nurse’s Office. The school must obtain parental permission in order for a student to be released from school due to illness. Students and parents must still sign out in the Attendance Office to go home and provide a parental note upon return. A student that becomes sick in the restroom must report immediately to the nurse’s office, any student who stays in the restroom for any extended period of time will be in violation of the school’s unexcused absence policy. If you are too ill to report to the Nurse’s Office, send word to that effect to any of the staff members in the building.
Early Dismissals While at School
If you need to be dismissed from school early, your parent or guardian must provide the school with a written note indicating time, date, and reason for dismissal. Students need to present the note to the Attendance office to obtain an Early Dismissal note, then sign out with attendance office.
NOTE: Students may only be released to those adults who are listed on student contact page, unless authorized by an administrator.
